I've been there twice and I won't come back. While extracting a tooth, the doctor's tool fell out twice, hitting my front teeth. He joked that nothing happened. If you have to choose a doctor, these young people are much more polite. Never go to the older ones. The quality of services is average and the price is high.

Walked in noting I havent been to a dentist in 5 years. Stated i need a full x ray, dental cleaning, and whitening. Also that i need the front filling repaired, which was caused by the tooth being broken in half when i was a teenager and its very old and worn down, making it shorter than my other teeth. I also mentioned I was interested in a top 4 to 8 composite bonding in the newr future to uniform my teeth. Instead of making a lot of honest money from me, the dentist chose to rob me once and damage my teeth. The dentist only took an xray of my front tooth, not the full xray I requested. He didnt clean my molars during the "deep clean",no lip balm was provided for my lips for any relief during procedure, he only placed the UV light over my mouth 1 time and it was poorly positioned, he never remineralized my teeth after the incomplete whitening session. He shoved me both times when he told me to rinse with water. When i brought up the issues after the appointment he denied everything and even shamelessly claimed the separate tooth cleaning before i even asked for the whitening to be done was included in the UV time. ..thats wrong. The UV time is calculated completely separately from setup. I was robbed. One session of a complete UV whitening procedure requires 3 to 4 times of 15 to 20 minute UV exposure each time in one visit. This clinic doesnt take cards(or told me they dont) and made me ride with a staff of theirs to get money from an ATM. They didnt trust me to get money from an ATM to pay them, yet they are the ones who purposely chemically destroyed my teeth in one visit for nothing. Hilarious. This is not pain free.my teeth HURT very badly, especially due to the clinic skipping remineralization after dehydrating my teeth heavily with chemicals for no reason. Not one reputable clinic would ever let a patient undergo just one UV light exposure. I had to threaten to call the police to even begin to get low end disrespectful solutions to this monstrosity. The dentist said his solution was to go finish the bleaching. That was an obvious no. He already purposely hurt my teeth by choosing to skip remineralization and chose not to complete the process by ending the session after one UV exposure. Why on earth would i go back in his chair? I regret going here. Its obvious. Hanoi is not the place to go for even simple dental procedures like this. Dont go here.
Listed below is the standard protocol for a UV teeth whitening session. Phase 1: Pre-Treatment Assessment and Preparation • Clinical Screening and Clearance: The dentist checks for active decay, leaky restorations, and severe gum recession. Any of these issues could cause excruciating pain if exposed to bleach. • Plaque Removal: The clinician polishes the teeth using a fluoride-free pumice paste. This removes the biofilm so the whitening gel can penetrate the enamel evenly. • Shade Mapping: The baseline tooth color is recorded using a standardized shade guide or a digital spectrophotometer. This creates a benchmark for the final results. Phase 2: Isolation and Tissue Protection Because professional gels contain highly caustic 25% to 40% Hydrogen Peroxide, isolating the oral cavity is the most critical safety step. • Soft Tissue Retraction: Plastic cheek retractors keep the lips, cheeks, and tongue completely away from the teeth. • Skin and Lip Barrier: Lip balm or petroleum jelly is applied to prevent dehydration or chemical chapping. • Liquid Gingival Dam: The dentist paints a light-cured resin barrier along the gumline, slightly overlapping the enamel margins. This resin is cured with a blue light to create a water-tight seal over the gums. • Eye Safety: The patient and clinicians put on specialized protective goggles to shield their eyes from the high-intensity light beams. Phase 3: Gel Application and Light Activation • Gel Placement: A thin, uniform layer (about 1 mm thick) of the peroxide gel is applied directly to the front surfaces of the targeted teeth. • Light Acceleration: The specialized blue LED or laser lamp is positioned directly in front of the patient's open mouth. The light source targets the gel to accelerate the release of oxygen free radicals, which break down stubborn stains within the enamel. • Timed Cycles: The gel is left on for 15 to 20 minutes PER CYCLE. • Suction and Re-application: After a cycle finishes, the old gel is carefully suctioned off. It is never rinsed with a heavy spray at this stage to avoid splattering and chemical burns. A fresh layer of gel is applied, and the light is turned back on. This process is repeated 3 to 4 times in a single visit. Phase 4: Clean-Up and Desensitization • Thorough Post-Suctioning and Rinse: The final layer of gel is suctioned off, and the teeth are rinsed copiously with water while using high-volume suction. • Barrier Removal: The hardened gingival dam is peeled away from the gums. • Remineralization Treatment: A post-treatment desensitizing gel containing fluoride or potassium nitrate is applied to the teeth for a few minutes. This helps soothe the nerves and rehydrate the enamel. • Final Shade Verification: The dentist takes a final shade reading to evaluate how many shades the teeth have brightened. ......... I received 1 UV light treatment and no remineralization or polish after the procedure. Your procedure skipped standard protocols. Standard protocol requires 3 to 4 light cycles in one visit. Receiving only 1 cycle means your whitening results will likely be limited. Skipping the final polishing and remineralization step is a cost-cutting or time-saving shortcut. It leaves your tooth enamel vulnerable. The whitening process temporarily strips minerals from your teeth, opening up microscopic pores. Without a professional remineralization treatment, your teeth will be highly sensitive and will absorb stains much faster. The rough feeling is caused by the temporary opening of microscopic pores in your enamel, compounded by the clinic skipping the final polishing paste. When high-concentration whitening peroxide strips away subsurface stains without a follow-up polishing treatment to smooth the surface, the natural texture of the enamel feels distinct and gritty to your tongue.
